We used them for a construction job. They were always able to do same day service. Went above and beyond.

Last night, I ordered Mexcian, and went to pick it up, here in Greenup. While I was waiting to pay, two state troopers came to stand behind me to pay. I was able to take care of myself and their order. On the receipt I wrote "Thank you, for ALL you do. You've been #RACK 'ed. I handed it to him when I turned around and walked away. Well.. today. I was up early, weeding the flower beds. I had huge piles of trimmings and weeds, spread all over. I was down on my knees pulling more weeds when #ElkinsSanitation came by to pick up our trash. I thanked him for doing so. About that time, a man jumped out of the driver seat. Both men, after taking our trash..walked up and started picking up all of my trimmings. Even in our yard! I was trying to help, but they kept taking it from my arms and moving it to the truck themselves! I thanked them over and over again. They never mentioned Cody. But this was most definitely a random act of kindness!!! #RACK #RANDOMACTSOFCODYKINDNESS #BEKIND #DONOHARM

Okay but could use improvement. I have been using Elkins Waste Services for about a year or so now and they do a good job but I have had a few problems with them. They are constantly changing my trash day pickup. They missed my trash a few times as well. I was upset because they missed my trash a few weeks and yet they still charged me for each week. To me that's not right; it was their fault they didn't stop and so they didn't do their job. Therefore, why should we pay them for services rendered when they didn't actually render those services. Now on another note the people in the office that take payments and answer phone calls are very nice they try their best to help you out and fix the issues when there is one. Their prices are affordable compared to the other waste services companies. If u can't pay during one more than its no huge deal thy wait. They have had to wait on me a couple times and they still pick up the trash...they just add the bills together till it gets paid off. Besides those few problems i menrioned they are a descent company. I haven't had them miss my trash in a while now so they are improving. As long as things stay this way then they are a great company I my opinion, at least when it comes to waste service companies.
