I would give 0 stars if I could. The only way to rent a dumpster is to talk to a "consultant." You are not allowed to call a local location directly. The problem with this is that a phone rep will ask a thousand questions, but then dump you on hold to wait for one of these oh-so-special "consultants" and then blame "high call volumes" when no one answers. At the time of this review, I have been on hold (or more likely forgotten about) for over 45 minutes. This is PATHETIC.
Update: Final wait time was over an hour. AND their pricing is HUNDREDS more than other companies in the area. I recommend shopping around before you waste your time and money. :)

They collect "non-scheduled" pickups and charge you $180 per pickup. BIll for first two months of dumpster service was $524. Do everything you can to avoid this company. If you call customer service plan on waiting half an hour to speak to a human. Would give 0 stars if I could.

It would be difficult to briefly list all the issues I see wrong with this company.
They have a predatory fee scheme to bilk customers. They routinely miss pick-up’s and will only make it up if you call them. Trying to get a person on the phone is nearly impossible; I haven’t had a wait time of less than 20 minutes when trying to reach their call center. Talking to my neighbors their prices are all over the place- but Republic seems to take the most advantage of older folks in the area by charging them much higher prices.
Do yourself and your neighbors a favor- NEVER USE REPUBLIC.

Republic service, holds no one accountable on their companies team. They are scheduled for Wednesday , now they show up on Thursday. This week they not only dumped 1/4 of my trash in the street, but now they have changed their rules on leaf removal. Last year they would pick up ten additional bags . This year only 4. I am not upset with the 4, not knowing I left 9 out , which NONE of them were picked up. They stated they must be too large for the driver to pick up. I responded that me and my 7 year old daughter brought them to the curb. She also stated I could not prove that her driver dumped m trash in the street , after dealing with her and no accountability from her company. I mentioned that the video from my surveillance system would. Unfortunately dealing with a company with NO accountability and getting extremely frustrated . I had to Hang up on her. Please be aware to read the fine print, rules and such.
Now I wish I would of voted for city trash. I cant believe I would ever say that but after dealing with this company it is only true .

If I could give negative stars I would. Hands down worst customer service you will ever experience. They raised my bill to almost 3 times the amount they originally quoted. I called to see if they could lower my bill and was told someone would get back to me in a couple of days. In the mean time I called another company and they charge a third of the price. I called back to cancel no one even tried to get me to remain a customer. They took the trash cans a week early, of which I had already paid for service for that week. Then they auto drafted my account for the asinine price they charge even though I have no trash cans with them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. They are a huge scam!!
