Title: Exceptional Service at the Embassy of Latvia in Washington D.C. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Embassy of Latvia in Washington D.C., and I am compelled to share my exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism, which is exactly what one would hope for from their country's representation abroad. I had read a review prior to my visit where an individual complained about the embassy's strict adherence to appointment times, stating that they were not allowed in before the exact time of their appointment. However, I firmly believe that this is an unfair criticism. The policy of only letting visitors in at their scheduled appointment time is a standard practice in numerous institutions, including embassies, and is a part of maintaining order and efficiency. It ensures that each case is given the proper attention it deserves without unexpected delays. During my visit, I was met with excellent customer service. The staff at the embassy, especially the woman at the desk, was incredibly helpful and courteous. They made sure that all my needs were addressed and questions answered. Given that I had flown six hours and was still recovering from brain surgery, their accommodating nature was particularly appreciated. It's important to mention that my experience starkly contrasts with the complaint of the individual who was upset about driving two hours to get to the embassy. This comparison is hardly fair, as everyone's situation is unique, and the embassy's policies are in place to ensure a smooth and organized operation for all visitors. What stood out to me the most was the genuine care and support I felt from the embassy staff. Their professionalism did not come at the expense of warmth and empathy. I left feeling proud and reassured by the quality of representation provided by my home country. In conclusion, the Embassy of Latvia in Washington D.C. is a shining example of excellent diplomatic service. The staff's dedication to providing a positive experience for their nationals is evident, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my visit. I love my embassy, and I am grateful for the outstanding service they continue to offer. last iepriekseejo review...nu ssausmas..kauns pa latviessu Ilona.... My experience with the service at the Embassy of Latvia was horrible! My appt was at 10 am, we drove for almost 2 hours to Washington DC and got there 10 min early. When I rang the door bell, a woman opened the door and with an attitude announced that because I was 10 min early, I have to stand outside and ring the door bell at EXACTLY 10 am! As I was standing outside waiting for 9 minutes to pass I felt humiliated. The rest of the appointment was even worse. The woman at the service desk was annoyed and irritated even with the way I breath. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.
Super helpful and efficient staff. Lady who helped me with my passport renewal was very nice and informative. In addition to easy breezy renewal process, she gave me plenty of useful information about travel for my parents from Latvia into the U.S. in light of recent travel ban lift. Be on time though! They will not see you few minutes early or after your scheduled appointment time, if you arrive late.
Why they never respond to emails. Why they state contact details if they don't answer?
On the day of the open house, I waited in line for over an hour only to find that we were not allowed to enter the embassy itself, and the individual who served the bread was rather unwelcoming and not willing to teach about the cuisine. There was a lovely choir with such enthusiastic smiles that it made up for the wait.
Excellent service. Fast and werry helpful. Sandra was fast and detailed with everything must be filld. I come 15 minutes before and got out in an 20 Minutes. Warm welcoming feeling while went through pasportot renewal process.
Very responsive and extremely helpful staff in getting our firm's client document legalized in an efficient and prompt manner.
Great Service. Make sure you will be here at your scheduled apt time, not even 5 min earlier. And dont be late. Nice people, friendly and fast. :
Horrible service, almost impossible to reach this embassy. Attitude is horrible. I went there with my son and the lady start to yell at me because I ring the wrong door bell. That was my first and hopefully last time thereSome workers is talking so disrespectful on the phone.
