Always polite and professional staff, we sent our passports by mail, when they got it, they invited us , 5 minutes and we have our extended passports It was a nice reason visit DC

I called the embassy about my passport expiration. They are unable to renew my passport yet just provide stamp of extension. This does not help at all as I am regular traveler. It provides difficulty in immigration services. In addition, the embassy employees prefer speaking in Russian. What happened to the Turkmen language? How long does Turkmen people need to talk in the oppressors and colonizer's language? Moreover, there is an article in Turkmen News which is the best and may be the only reputable news agency which has written an article about corruption of current ambassador who keeps buying real estate on US soils. Is that true? .....

I mailed my passport yesterday and today a fine gentleman reached out to me to confirm that they received the document. It was a very polite gesture. Maya have answered my questions several times whenever I called the embassy. Thank you all for everything guys!

Hope the Embassy will re-open in the nearest future and we will be able to safe time to deal with everything faster and without third parties involved.

I am amazed with how polite and respectful the embassy staff is - they answered questions over the phone, emails, and even followed up afterwards. We submitted the application requesting to expedite the visa-issuing process and it seemed they had our visa processed in the matter of hours.
