Embers Wood Grill

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful!! The staff was attentive all night, and we elected to have an outside cocktail hour with served appetizers and wine, beer, and cocktails and the staff timed everything well. For the actual dinner the food was phenomenal and we received a lot of compliments! Definitely one of the fancier restaurants in gainesville and well worth it! They were a pleasure for my mother in law to work with for planning the dinner, as well.

Absolutely delicious food. The cocktails and beer selection are also fantastic. I would be encouraged to add an additional star if this places prices were on point and not so expensive. I have a feeling they are able to justify the high prices because competition for good food is low in this small town.

Stylish upscale classy restaurant. Great food. Superb wine collection. Fantastic courteous service. Thanks to Colin to take good care of dinner during visit. Looking forward to visit again in near future.

The restaurant was amazing! Top class in service and food. My husband and I took my daughter & her boyfriend for her birthday & we were all pleased with our dinners and dessert. We definitely planned on going back in the future.

Arrived at 6. Ordered wine. Wine arrived at 6:30. 6:58 now, still waiting for food order to be taken. To walk out or not to walk out... Decided to wait. Assuming food would make up for service. Whoops. Three out of four medium rare steaks arrived medium well to well. Not a drop off pink between them.
