I’ve rented through this Enterprise / National location several times and have always had a good experience. The clerks have always been friendly, available, helpful, and articulate. My car is always waiting for me and is sometimes upgraded without my asking!. This location is well above average compared to my other perfectly fine experiences renting through other Enterprise locations!
I rented a car from January 1st to January 4th, directly through their website, for the Back Bay location, in Boston. Unfortunately, when I got there, the store was closed. We called Enterprise and first they told us that store didn't open on Sundays. Then, they said it didn't open because it was a Holiday. The person on the phone said they would get us a car, but only transferred the call to Alamo. They got us a car, but at Logan Airport. It was definitely not a good way to start the year.
Disappointing experience. I was a regular customer at this location and get an employee discount through my institution. I arrived at 10AM to find a shut door and dimly lit office with a single employee, Olivia, who ignored me for 5-10 minutes before finally getting off her computer and coming over. No discussion of car choices or upgrades. She points me to the car - crammed in the middle of other cars, hands me the keys, and left. I had to carefully maneuver my car out of the space before doing my own walk-around, fuel level check, and other adjustments. It was extremely off-putting. Previous experiences at this location had been very positive... not sure if the pandemic has caused them to be short-staffed. I would recommend those seeking to rent from this Enterprise location to brace for poor/chilly reception until things return to normal.
Definitely one of the best car rental experiences I have ever had thanks to Assistant Manager Branden! He was super friendly and was able to get me into my rental very quickly so I can start my 7 hour trip. Highly recommend this location and I will be back.
I've rented cars from this location a few times and it's always been a good experience. Last night I showed up right at closing time to pick up a reserved compact car. The only car ready was an SUV which was too big for the parking space I was going to use. Thomas, the Enterprise team member, looked at returned cars and checked in a compact car for me after their official closing time. Thanks for going the extra mile!
I usually and what I did was extend my rental agreement for a week for 4 weeks. I called every week and they charged my card every week I have my call logs. And I was charged when I brought my car back on the 4th week when I brought the car back! the last day over and 1500 dollars. I returned my car on the 7th of August and they charged my card a few days later.. Double billing me! I'm told it's nothing they can do about this.. My account is negative 1500 and I'm currently working with a lawyer. First Nobody can assist me as they tell me because the manager won't be in until tomorrow or Friday. This is bad service, I never had a problem until now. I been renting for over a year. I have all of my receipts from all 4 weeks again, I rent weekly my call logs shows when I called to extend my rental agreement.
Our experience with this location was fantastic. Makala was awesome, she explained everything and we made our reservation 10 minutes prior to picking up the car. There is only one person at this location, and there were other guests that were waiting for service but from the time we went to the front desk and drove away from the hotel may have been 15 minutes. Well worth the wait considering I dropped the car back off and went to my room. Excellent experience as always with Enterprise,
4 starts because the drivability of the car was very poor. I had no idea where the wheels were pointing towards. The engine would suddenly rave up and down. This was my first experience of driving a hybrid vehicle so I am not sure if it was supposed to drive that way, but I did not enjoy driving that car at all. Apart from this, the service was good, booking experience was excellent. Pickup and drop off was easy and hassle free. Charges were competitive. Overall good experience except for the car selection.
We rented a mini-van from Neysh for a 1 way trip to Chicago. She was excellent and this location was the best car rental place we went to. She went out of her way to set up our car, fold the seats down, and take care of all of the paperwork. Would certainly come here again to rent for my next rental!
I'd give them 10 stars if I could. We booked a car at another Enterprise location outside town, unaware of this more convenient location, which we saw by chance while walking around Prudential Center. Alex was the guy we spoke to and was very accommodating with our request to change our booking so that we can pick up our car here - instead of the other location - without any extra charges. The car was in great shape and was everything we needed for the next leg of our trip. As we were ending our trip, we encountered an unfortunate incident that required the car to be towed. A few days later, we were quite surprised to learn that we will not be charged as much as we had expected. Alex even called us to confirm that all is taken care of. We couldn't thank him and the entire team enough for the overall great service!
