Esquire's a great bar. The personal pizzas are pretty good. Their drink selection isn't bad either. It's fun, you get peanuts that you can just toss on the floor, there are pool tables...what's not to love? It's also really nice sitting outside and watching the world go by as you sip your beer. It's a prime location during Fridays in the summer because there's a lot of live music.

From my experiences at Esquire, the food has always been delicious, reasonably priced or cheaper considering the rest of the downtown Champaign atmosphere, in terms of other bars and restaurants. The actual atmosphere of Esquire is very townie, meaning it's open, laid back, and quite friendly. Pool area to play billiards, TVs for the big game, Illini sports, etc. Definitely worth the stop in.
