I have been seeing Dr Haskell for a number of years for dry eyes. I have no complaint with her exam, or care. It is more of housekeeping issues such as, I was given another patients eye prescription and did not realize this until I got home. I called the office and they sent the correct prescription to my home. Also, 2 weeks after my appointment I still had not received my eye drops from my mail in pharmacy. I called eye sight and was told that it had not been faxed in and that they would tend to this today as I am almost out of my medication. My thoughts are that the staff need to tie up all loose ends of a visit. They seemed to be a bit rushed.

Only giving this a one star, because zero stars are not an option. I had a referral regarding my high intraocular pressure, the appointment was a 15min conversation about dry eyes ( which is a symptom from eye drops I take for the pressure), then i was dismissed and was told to not make appointments with them again. There was no help whatsoever from the Doctor and he was rude.

Arrived on time. Waited for my appt for an hour. When I informed them that I could not wait any longer, the receptionist, who looked unfazed, actually asked if I would like to reschedule... there are typically very long waits that have gotten worse over the years. Today was the last straw.

The only reason there is one star here is there not an option for zero. I went first see Marsha C. Kavanagh, M.D. Last December for chronic dry eyes. She recommend a regime of preservative free eye drops, refresh liquid gel drops , an ointment and , for which I now spend $60 per week on then warm compresses to "break up" the crusting around my eyelids and Then a couple months later I develop clouded vision in my right eye had a subsequent follow up with Dr Susan Haskell during which she recommend Sustain, so I asked them to forward the prescription to my VA primary care Dr so I could get the script through the VA. Haskell then referred me back to Kavanagh, who prescribed the same three over the counter drops, which were not working and a steroidal eye drop to clear the vision with a follow up in another two weeks the blurred vision had cleared but I explained that I had t was needing to use more and more of these very expensive drops to ease the burn No response from her just a vacuous stare NOTHING! Continue as you have next follow up i had JUST showered prior to the appt and my symptoms had ebbed as the do for a couple of hours after showing. . I again explained that yes at the moment my symptoms eased but I am using two boxes of $20 eye drops per week plus the gel, plus the ointment and warm compresses and NOT getting ANY prolonged relief!
Again nothing from her and scheduled yet a another six week appt which I then cancelled because these people use patients as cash cows.. Scheduling follow up after follow up and DOING NOTHING TO EASE THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM! TOTAL waste of time and money not to mention Now I am back to clouded vision in my right eye constant secretions and burning. I am NEVER GOING BACK TO SEE THESE CLOWNS! You SHOULDN'T EITHER!
