Eyre Dermatology Clinic

Dr. Eyre was awesome. He patiently listened to my whole story, took some skin samples and had a solution in just a couple of minutes (I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a year with another doctor with no solutions). He didn’t have any patients waiting, so he let me take a look at my skin samples under the microscope! Think what you want, but I’m a student so I was fascinated by that. I had a great experience at this doctor’s office.

I had been going here for years to treat eczema and a couple years later when i had an eczema outbreak i decided to go back. The doctor kept insisting i had poison ivy (in the middle of winter) even though he had treated me for eczema before. I kept telling him i didnt go outside, especially in the winter, and that it was just my eczema and yet he still gave me a pamphlet on poison ivy when i left. I waited until i had seen a couple other doctors before writing this review because i wanted to be sure. They all told me it was 100% eczema and they had no idea why he would insist such a thing. Anyways.. Not a great experience.

I was nervous about a mole on my back and Dr. Steven Eyre worked me right into the schedule that very day to be seen. He removed the mole which turned out to be stage 3B melanoma. He refereed me to a wonderful Surgical Oncologist for the proper follow up treatment and I am forever grateful for the kindness and prompt response I received from Dr. Eyre. He probably saved my life!

Dr. Russel Eyre takes his time and is very thorough! If you are someone who can't handle that I would recommend finding someone who meets your needs. But don't yell at the staff or the Doctor!
