Fairview Diagnostic Labs

I went to a specialist that sent a lab here to be evaluated. I received a result stating "unsatisfactory specimen for evaluation", so I did not receive a result for this lab. However, a month later I received 2 bills from them totaling $143. I called them and spoke to numerous people telling me the lab was run so you are being billed for the process. My insurance company was also billed $502. So basically they billed for over $600 on a lab that should have never been ran in the first place. I skilled laboratory tech should know if a sample is adequate prior to running the test. Then I was told my a supervisor if I have the lab rerun they "will see it as a duplicate lab and I will not be billed for the second lab". However when I called to get that in writing prior to goin in for the second lab, I was told "you should have never been told that maam, yes you would be billed for the second lab. And like I said the bill as it is stands and you are responsible for payment of that portion of the bill." I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company.
