Fairway Market

This Fairway is not easy to find. It's down by the river underneath the highway. I walked there down a path and followed the bike path along the Hudson river. There's a nice park across the street with benches to eat the food from the market. We ate delicious pizza and salad from the salad bar outside.

Excellent location to go shopping and accessible by Bus and Subway. The Staff is friendly and helpful when you need help with obtaining a particular item for cooking. Always go early because it gets very crowded during Rush Hour and on Weekends.

First time here, have to say, I was pretty happy. They have an abundance of items. Since moving in the area, it has been hard to find a market that just seems to have everything at a reasonable price. Reasonable compared to the markets much closer to me. Since it was a late night, I didn't get a chance to explore the whole store. I did however, took a while to realize where the entrance was but eventually found it. The associates there were very helpful and kind. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather just to take in the view across from Fairway.

My favorite supermarket, period. The only criticisms I can offer is that you must walk through a pretty busy parking lot to get to the entrance, and that there should be a sign leading you to the "cold room" near to the the entrance so one doesn't get lost looking for it. And inside the cold room, having signs to indicate where things are would be even more helpful.
