What a horrible place. Their small animals have pine as substrate which is respiratory death for rodents. I brought this to the attention of the lady working there (overweight woman with short brown hair) who rolled her eyes and said "oh well, it's approved so we'll use it." I had to explain to her what substrate even meant as she wasn't familiar with the word . A cursory search of veterinary articles on respiratory problems in rodents will tell you that pine and cedar should never be used. The birds are crammed in small, filthy cages. The reptiles had mites. This place does not care about animals. Please get your pets from a rescue center and do not support the breeding and selling of sick animals.

I went in to check out a new pet for my daughter. The lady working wasn't very friendly. Ended up visiting pet smart.

The new owner has been really helpful educating my daughter with the correct fish & the right amount of fish for her tank. Also she has helped with the best way to clean a tank as well.

if it were possible to give a 0 star rating that’s exactly what i would give this business. i try my hardest to support local businesses etc. but i will no longer be visiting that shop. the staff is just fine but do not go out of their way to make conversation which i would think is a good way to get returning customers, there was poop in the middle of an aisle, there were multiple cages that contained spiders ( i completely despise spider) and they had no water whatsoever, there were tanks with frogs and salamanders that appeared to not have been cleaned for ages, and they falsely advertised kittens and puppies but have none, the kennels are full of junk and uninhabitable if there were to be anything other than aquatic animals at the store

First complaint: I called today and asked to speak with a manager or owner of the store. The girl who answered put me on hold and said to who I’m assuming was the manager “there’s someone asking to speak with a manager, sounds like a kid. Want me to talk to them or you want to”. Second complaint: Another woman who had broken English answered. I informed her to let the other employee know I wasn’t a kid I was an adult. I explained I had spoke to a gentleman several months ago and he said he would buy baby Guinea Pigs from me. She asked how old they were. I said “3 weeks” she said “I can’t take them until they are 6 weeks, sorry girl”. She obviously doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Male babies leave at 3 weeks because they can reproduce!!! Very rude, uneducated and unprofessional!!!
