Fiddlehead

Went on a first date here. It was a great atmosphere and awesome food. From the app to the dessert it was all top notch. The staff was great and very welcoming. Their timing was great never felt rushed and everything flowed very nice. Stayed for almost four hours with my date. Would highly recommend.

Excellent across-the-board: food, service, ambience. In Bangor from Seattle on business and was wowed by the staff at Fiddlehead. This restaurant holds its own with the "foodie-level" establishments of NYC, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, etc.. Can't imagine why one wouldn't eat here on a regular basis, if you lived in Bangor.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The best drinks in the area. Great service and a fun ever changing menu! I always wish I could hit it up more often! I feel any poor reviews of this Reastaurant are a product of people not understanding small business- don’t listen to those fools!!! It’s a small place so keep the kids at home with a babysitter out of respect for other patrons! If you have a huugggge party you’ll have to remember that you’re a huge party in an intimate restaurant setting- understand that not everything can be perfect for you!

Hands down one of the best places to eat ever and I travel a bunch for work. The food is wonderful as is the wine list. The staff is beyond amazing. If I could I would give six stars. Wow. If you are in Bangor Maine and do not stop in here. Make it happen. Cheers!

A warm and entertaining welcome followed by a cozy atmosphere in spite of the cold weather outside. Service was as it should, pleasant, personable and only when needed. My personal rating, based on the quality of the crab cake, is "Happy patty". The monk fish was moist with a perfect sear and the steak was sincerely one of the best I've had in a while. Not only was the quality of the meat top notch but it was also cooked to order, of right temperature and seasoned well leaving nothing to be done but to enjoy. The drinks tasted great were priced reasonably but could be stiffer, though that preference varies from person to person. Further, a problem I have with most restaurants is that the desert menu is uninspired. The item we had was will executed but offered nothing unique to the heart's desire for sweets. We would come here again.
