Firehook Bakery

Got the raspberry filled brioche. I enjoyed the raspberry fill proportion to the brioche. I just wish it was fresh. Unfortunately, it was stale.

Took the metro and passed this place on the way to the Newseum. So glad they were open on Thanksgiving and WOW were they busy. Line went very fast. Yogurt parfait was fresh. Cookies are huge, great price. I had the oatmeal raisin and it was spectacular. Glad they had soda for those of us who don't like coffee.

Love Firehook! Amazing cookies, great coffees, and lovely staff at this location. They seemed to know most of the patrons, and their orders! Located at the top of the metro station it’s super easy to get to and a good stop for visiting the Smithsonian museums.

Ordered strawberries and cream cake for my moms bday. It was very stale and dry. I called to share my feedback and request a refund and they wanted me to bring the cake back to them “so they could taste it”. Never again ordering from this bakery!

Firehook Bakery has some amazing cookies and pastries, but on I visited this particular location for lunch when I was on jury duty. I ordered a veggie panini and it was not that great. It was ok but I wouldn't get it again. I'll just stick to baked goods and coffee next time.

The worst experience ever. I was insisting on Chocolate cake but they somehow convinced me to get the Strawberry vanilla cake which tasted awful. Never try it

It was a coooooold day. Nice friendly staff. The creamiest hot chocolate, and a welcoming portion. We copped a squat and warmed up. Our group purchased a few muffins, cookies and a fruit dish. Everything from start to finish was excellent. You gotta stop on through!

Located close to one entrance of the Judiciary Square Metro and across the street from MPD Headquarters. Typical coffee shop. Coffee and food has always been pretty good here. Staff seems to be just doing their job to get along. Customer service not the best, appearance of employees needs to be looked at.

really good coffee, other drinks and bakery. Their sandwiches and salad aren't always good but the baked goods are amazing. It's small and can get crowded, better for grab and go than sitting down.

Very friendly staff. Coffee is always on point and made fresh. The pastries are a favorite within my office. Power players in the senate like to meet here and talk shop. Great little coffee house.
