Best experience ever with a title company.My mom passed last year and we sold her condo by owner. From our initial contact to close we were treated with respect and compassion ,even though we didn't have a real estate agent. I especially wanted to thank Sandy, Kathy, Rich and Katie for all the help, they really went above and beyond to get us to close.

First American has been my go-to title company for over 10 years. I've always found them to be dependable and willing to go the extra mile. Even if I needed something after hours or on weekends. I’ve worked for real estate companies that had their own title insurance company “in house”. The service I get from First American has consistently been better than the “in-house” title company I’ve been pressured to use. Countless times I’ve called my title rep, Justin Bankston, for help closing a deal quickly. What I’d hear is “Yes! We’ll make it happen!”. Try that with the “in-house” title company and all I’d get was some kind of lecture on how busy they were and or how I didn’t get my request submitted “in time”. The real estate sign might have changed over the years but my title company hasn’t. Way to go First Am!

We purchased our first home and closed in October. We didn't hear back from the title company until April in regards to the escrow being held. This company mis-handled the funds, and ultimately ended up allocating the funds incorrectly. If you care about the money you are putting into escrow and expect to get what is fair at the end of it all, I would strongly suggest finding another title company. As a first time buyer, I wish I had more insight to choose a different title company.

I exclusively use First American Title Company. They are fabulous and always have everything prepared. If I need something in a pinch Justin is sure to get it for me. I have never had an isssue with them as I have had with other title companies in the past. Great communication and follow through on everything.
