If I listed out all the ways First Student has put my child in danger this year, you'd skim right by this review and think I'm a liar. No one could possibly mess up that badly and that frequently. If I could give them no stars I would just for letting other elementary children fasten her car seat, loosening it all the way and for yelling at me because I got upset they "forgot" to install a car seat for my child (legally required per 504 plan) and allowed her to ride anyway.These are big deal things and very illegal. No matter who I call to try to remedy the issues, they blame someone else. The school, the bus monitor company, First Student, and CREC apparently do not respect each other very much and it's the kids who are suffering. I know my kid isn't the only one having these problems.

Ignorant drivers and lying management. None of them know how to do their job properly or morally. Was a past employee there and saw poor conditions the busses were in. Horrible chatter about racism and other kids of predigest remarks. Witness one driver in our West Hartford First Student lot who refused to take down something off his bus window from a manager at First Student and started driving crazy around the lot with her arm caught in the door for like 3 minutes. One of many scary stories there. I strongly suggest do not let your children ride their buses. At least the West Hartford, CT First Student buses.
