Pretty good food. I enjoy getting the fish, grits, & fried egg platter custom order the price is good for the amount of food you get. Would’ve given them 5 stars but sometimes the door is open and bugs will fly in leaving the precooked food exposed. That’s why I make custom orders lol

Food is acceptable, been coming here the last two years but if you guys can’t afford to stay there maybe its time to move? No one should be paying nearly 20 dollars for a Sand-which and Soup , then you charge nearly 10 dollars for a short sub with hardly any meat, you cut corners and overcharge, the only reason you get business is because of the convenience of being open at 6am, no one else around you charges as much as you guys, an its not about the money fr, its just breakfast food , and your charging the same prices for a dinner plate.

I have only had breakfast and it is about 8 dollars which is high for egg in the hood. For Asians to make the food I am disappointed and the amount of food is not loaded. Now I did get their salmon cake which was delicious you just get one though. I am writing though because I saw several roaches by the food display case which is shocking. I let one go but then four or five others came out and started running by the light.

My favorite breakfast spot in this side of NE. I know what I'm talking about. Im a certified #Native not a gentrifier.

Omg I have my new breakfast. I use to eat here a long time ago and it was good then..but I moved on the other side of town....baby this food is worth the drive!! I have to try the lunch and dinner menu thou

This place here is pretty hidden and I am happy that I stumbled upon this place that is hiding lots of goodness. They have pretty good portions when it comes to breakfast, there are so many good options such as the sandwiches. I started off with the ham egg and cheese, I also got the platter with Italian sausage, grits, home fries, pancakes, eggs and cheese with bacon yes I got all this and it was delicious .. I have to say though the prices are a little highthat is the only major thing because you can get platters of breakfast for almost 2 to 3 dollars less. I know that does not seem like a lot to most people but to some individuals that made matter a great deal. Especially when you are getting the exact same portion of food.

Excellent breakfast. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood and I definitely love the refurbished store front. The staff are friendly and courteous, and will make sure you have what you need to have a good meal. The lunch is a good take out place and the fish is good. Keep up the good work!

They serve some of the best whiting fish in D.C. Love this place!!

I got the fish platter whiting It was ok The cabbage was really good. I didn't really taste the hype. I'm from Baltimore where our fish is seasoned to perfection! This fish was average at best. Only if I'm in the mood for fish while I'm working I work in DC will I go here because its convenient...otherwise, I'll eat somewhere else. Don't get me wrong...its cool...its just not GREAT.
