Visiting Milwaukee for business this week. Decided to hit up a place for some good deep dish. This spot was rated number one in the area. Great atmosphere walking in the door. Bartender had good energy and the place has an upbeat barroom appeal. Rum punch drink was excellent. We decided to try the mozzarella sticks. These are not your average mozzarella sticks. Light pastry feel on the outside. Definitely the best I have had to date. Ordered the D.I.X. deep dish with pepperoni. When the bartender brought our pizza it was thin crust instead of the deep dish we ordered. Bartender was nice enough to let us have it on the house while he put our order in again. The thin crust pizza was really good. It is by no means a paper thin crust. I would say it is a quarter inch thick crust that texture wise is light on top but has a really nice crisp layer on the pan. Once the deep dish arrived I must admit it looked incredible. The crust was very unique compared to other deep dishes we have had. The crust had a great crunch but definitely on the lighter side. This spot does an incredible job making a nice light but crisp crust. The deep dish had great flavors with the combination of pepperoni, veggies and cheese but I wish there had been some red sauce or more sauce of any kind. Overall it is a place we would visit again. At the end of the day we had great food and service. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best deep dish we have had to date. Parking: There is a pay for parking lot next to this restaurant. Parking was $16.00 for 90 minutes. If you can find parking somewhere else do it.
Rightfully known for their pizza. Decent beer selection. Way cool building. Been there a couple of times to eat. Have a handful of specialty pizzas each one named after a local bar/restaurant but I built my own veggie. My wife built a pepperoni and spinach. Service mostly on point and certainly friendly. Definitely recommend to try.
I Have been a customer for a few years. Great environment. I truly believe these are the best wings in the city. Fried, sauced, grilled. Yum!! $3 mimosas on Sunday They have INCREDIBLE pizza. Oh my gosh. I love the Indeed Brewing with Pineapples The Chopped Salad is soooo good with extra red wine vinaigrette. So good I went home and tried to make it myself. Great place to eat. Family friendly. I bring my boys in to eat all the time.
Not exactly chicago style, reads a bit dry due to sauce placement but a good deep pizza w/ fresh ingredients & toppings. The old fashioned was the best, then the honey ginger wings & then the pizza which ate much better with a side of sauce. My husband was enamored w/ the honey chili sauce.
The fantastic smells hit you right as you walk. The zucchini fries were so crispy and covered in parm that we inhaled them. The pesto pasta was to die for and the pizza was the best gluten free pizza my daughter has found! Now, here is the crazy thing. The ticket for the pizza got lost, so it came 15 min later than the pasta. They apologized several times and gave it to us at no charge. I was impressed. Most places would not do that.
OK. THIS IS GOOD PIZZA!!! I got a deep dish, pep, sausage, onion, and bacon from here. This slide right into one of my top places to go. The toppings were plentiful and absolutely delicious. Cooked crispy without a ton of grease pouring out of the crust. Definitely held its crispy even after a leftover trip to the microwave. The wings were also scrumptious lol. Had me sucking my fingers when I was done and left me with the question "Why didn't I order more?" Next time I'll make sure I do. Lesson learned.
What a surprise to find a place that reminds me of my my favorite hometown pizza place. We had the Big Daddy and it was delish! It was full of flavor and made a tasty snack for the 5 hour ride back to St. Louis! Kept ourselves entertained with a few games of corn hole while we waited. Fun times.
A coworker recommended this place when I said I was looking for a really good pizza place. It was the best pizza I had, but it wasn't the worst either. I guess in my opinion it was a good pizza, but not one I'd rush to eat again.
Food was absolutely amazing and Max bartender / server was super friendly and a great guy to chat up. To be honest, we weren’t expecting “spectacular” as Milwaukee isn’t known for their pizza, but we were pleasantly surprised! Eggplant fries - cool twist on a subpar veggie and def worth ordering. The crispness of the breading was perfect and very stable for a good dip in the marina. Max was not wrong about this. Indeed brewing pizza thin crust - perfect sharp flavors, evenly distributed cheese, sauce, toppings, and a nice crisp that comes with a thin crust. We added mikes hot honey recommendation from Max and it did not disappoint. Flavoring reminded me of Roberta’s in NYC except the crust - this was crunchier Chicken parm sandwich - mind blowing, absolutely perfect. Bread was buttered with garlic and perfectly toasted, chicken was well fried, juicy, and well seasoned with cheese and sauce. Combined together, every bite was mouthwatering Homemade chips - scrumptious
This was a great spot!! Service was really great, and they have a wide selection of food. My pizza was fantastic! They have a choice between thin and deep dish pizza for every pizza. And they did NOT skimp on toppings.Food: 5/5
