I went with my friend ( who goes to this school) and we attended a health science session st Valencia Osceola Campus to see if she can use the credits she earned from the MA program from this school. The advisor told her that the credits cannot be transfer from this school. She said that she has worked with several other students from FTC and they were unable to transfer the credits. This isn’t the only friend who went here and had the same problem. Please stay away from this school. Go to Valencia or wherever else you can find. Save yourself grief and money.

I have held back from writing a negative review on here but I am beyond frustrated. I attempted to get a hold of the Director for the MA program numerous amounts of time going back to November 2017 with no luck. I have gone in person and have had to take time out of work only to be told that everyone is in a meeting. I have looked the other way at the fact that I am stuck paying for a loan and I have not even been able to register to take my certification exam as MA. When I went with the concern, as many have stated here that FTC is not an accredited school and not recognized, the gentlemen in the front rushed in and pretty much insulted me in nice words because obviously there were people in the lobby. I only went with the concern because when I tried to register to take the exam it said that the school was not a recognized accredited school and I was unable to register. He told me the director could help me yet why is it that I have left several messages and still no reply. I even got a hold of the directors email and once again, still no reply. All I need is to know how I can register to take my certification exam and my Transcripts in order to move on and continue my education! Why is it so hard to have anyone call you back and do their job? I hope someone reads this and finally calls me back!

I got accepted into USF, but none of my Florida Technical College credits were applied towards my degree. Therefore, going to Florida Tech was a waste of money. I had to start over at a community college just to get into USF. UCF and USF have agreements with local community colleges to accept all students that finish their AA degree. Plus, community colleges are way cheaper than private schools like Florida Tech. My advice is to just go to a community college, especially if you plan on going to a University or Medical school/Grad school.
UPDATE: I recently graduated from USF and I decided to follow up. Low and behold I see that Florida scam school has responded and reported my post as spam in an attempt to hide the truth. The accreditation that respected schools have is from the sacscoc, if you google it you can search their database for all schools accredited by them in the South. If you follow my advice and attend a school on that list you won’t have a problem transferring your credits. Good luck and FYI most of the 5 star reviews are fake.

I have never experienced a more unhelpful and clueless staff than the one at this campus. No one has any sense of urgency when it comes to the things students need (ID cards, paperwork, online help etc.) Wanted to switch from campus to online classes because of child care issues and was promised an easy transition but instead was anything but easy. As a whole their educational team is decent but if you need anything from them forget it. Also they LOST THEIR ACCREDITATION. Big surprise. Seriously STAY AWAY. If I could give them no stars I would.

I graduated the cosmetology program.I would never recommend this school. The professors are disorganized. They constantly lost the students' paperwork. If they didn't like a subject, we were told to teach ourselves. Many days were spent listening to the professors discuss unrelated topics. The professors were constantly late from breaks. Now that I am a hairstylist, I'm discovering most of what I was taught is wrong. If the professor didn't know how to do something or was disinterested, they asked another student to teach the class. The professors talked negatively about other faculty and students.Students in my class had to transfer to another school because they couldn't understand spanish, and all of the professors taught their lessons in spanish. If we were absent from class, the professors insisted we provide a reason. I could go on but my review would be pages long. I truly regret coming here and I am seeing now that my experience did not help me in my field.
