Forest Park-DeBaliviere

I'm a zoo employee, and recently when running from the train to catch the #3 Tolly, I tripped over the weird concrete dividers in the the street separating the two sides of the street. I faceplanted in th the middle of the street taking the majority of of the blow on one elbow. I managed to get up before any cars came and make it over to two very nice ladies who helped me gather myself and gave me some napkins to hold my elbow in place and clean off my knee. I had a huge split in my are where it had hit the concrete. You could see bone and muscle tissue. One of the ladies asked if I wanted an an ambbulaclce because it obviously needed stitches. I said no. That if I just got to the zoo the first aid people and the zoo rangers would take care of me. Which they did. Not only is the zoo wonderful place to visit it takes care of its employees as well. I did wind up having to go to the hospital and I'd did get 6 stitches and an x-ray. But that's not why I'm writing. I'm telling you this all took place in front of two metro police. Not 15 feet away standing there chatting. And not once did the even come over to see if I was ok. They continued their conversation and stood there as I waited there dripping blood on the concrete as I waited with the two ladies helping me to get on the trolley to take me to the zoo. I dont know what is or is not in a security officer of the st. Louis metro system's job is but I'm pretty sure nothing isn't listed.

No bathroom nearby. Security told me to go to Subway but they didnt have a public restroom. Really need easily accessible restrooms at metrolink stops

Not that safe too many thugs hanging around, needs more security. Can be dangerous at night.

As one of the original stations, it put into use on July 31, 1993. The blue line (goes south) and the red line (goes into north) separate here!
