I buy my cars, and I keep them for a long time. I've been bringing my vehicles to Frank's for about 2 years now. Unfailingly competent and honest. Most recently, they counseled me not to replace my exhaust system, as the parts alone were nearly $2k. Instead, they did a nice job welding a couple of holes for a few hundred dollars. They've diagnosed problems that the dealer couldn't solve, such as a light-throttle miss that was a result of faulty ignition coils. The dealer wasn't sure, but wanted to replace the rear differential for thousands of dollars. They also clean every car before they return it - a really nice touch!

I love my 1999 BMW 528 although it has started to show its age. Went to Frank's Auto Repair because I had some body work done by its sister shop Northeast Collision, and was very impressed by the friendly people in both locations. There was multiple issues with the car, Tom explained to me all the necessary repairs and tried his best to give me discounts from the part suppliers. He was very honest and straightforward, and after we agreed upon the items to be fixed, he finished everything and turned the car back to me over a weekend, and that was the Thanksgiving weekend! My car runs great again now. Very impressed and very pleased. Thank you Tom and Diane!

Exceptional service and friendly staff. Day after Christmas my thermostat housing cracked, leaking antifreeze, an hour away from home and I was towed to Frank's by AAA. Tom (Service Manager) and Diane were very pleasant. I didn't catch the name of the mechanic who worked on my car; also very nice. They checked out my vehicle and made recommendations of a few other items needing work. They were not pushy and explained what they found in a way I understood without technical lingo. Opted for a couple other repairs in addition to the thermostat housing. Car is now running great! The total price came in under the quote. It was ready when promised and cleaner than when I dropped it off. Kudos!!

Their service is excellent and they wash your car - even in the winter. They advise on what should be done on the next service. You even get gifts - a lottery ruboff, raffle ticket and other niceties. Another review - great service! I needed a new battery after a snowstorm and they had it done in less than an hour.

Great people. Tom is a really friendly mechanic. Knows his stuff. They go the extra mile to get you the best price. If you have a car out of warranty go there. All makes.
