What a wonderful historical find. I really enjoyed our walk-thru learning the history even though the building was closed.
Beautiful peaceful park in busy little New Orleans. Museum was closed mostly because of COVID but they had a little bit of information around about the history of New Orleans which made it totally worth it. Staff was friendly and taught us all lots. So glad we made it here on our trip.
This tucked in little visitors center is a quiet respite in the city. Knowledgeable staff.

A very cool stop that will give you a good overview on the area. On a hot day it’s a nice breather from the soul crushing humidity outside.
What a wonderful way to experience the history of New Orleans. Fun, quick and the rangers are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great visit point in New Orleans. Here you will learn about the history of the city and the impact of the Mississippi river on the economic development throughout time. I enjoyed my visit. They also have a gift shop with cute little stuff and educational games.
Great ranger talks almost every morning. These and the displays are a great way to begin understanding a bit of the history of NOLA.
We visited during government shutdown so we were unable to enter. Gave it 4 stars because I've never been to a National parks service location and been let down.
