While the trainers and are great and the equipment is decent, be wary about signing the contract. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to cancel and that is one thing the staff do nothing to help with. If you look elsewhere like Yelp, you'll see that this is a very common thing unfortunately. Also their prices for personal training are outrageous. The only reason so many people are giving the gym 5 stars and a positive review is because the gym runs a competition to see which trainer can get more reviews. A bit of a cover up, no?

I purchased my pass over a month ago; I was particularly interested in group classes and after visiting a few places I've decided to stop at French Riviera. So far my experience has been more than pleasant. I like the room for group classes: it's big, very well ventilated, and air conditioner works good. All instructors are professional and ready to help, all staff members are friendly. I'm very satisfied with my experience and I want to thank all employees, the management and owners for running the gym so well.

I have been a client with the head trainer Kirk for almost a month now, and I have already lost ten pounds and am heading to my weight goal faster than I have imagined. I have never thought this would have been possible without the help of him. He is supportive, encouraging, dedicated, walks the walk, and pushes me to a level where I thought I couldn't push myself to. He believes in me, and I think that's what one of the most important aspects of what a trainer should be to their client; that they believe in us. That is what drives us. That is what gets us up in the morning. That is what gets us to achieve our goals. Thank you, Kirk, for being such an important aspect to reaching my fitness goals. Alongside Kirk, Ricky, the staff and the other personal trainers are incredibly friendly, hospitable, and fun with all of the members and with their clients. There is a family community at French Riviera Metairie that is nonexistent in other nearby gym facilities, and that is what sets them apart from the competition.

It takes 5 min to sign you in but to cancel the membership it's way too hard!! French Revierra , you are doing a awfull job!!!!
