Star Fitness Center

My wife and I chose Star after visiting 6 facilities associated with Silver Sneakers that are within 9 miles of our home. We like the choice of machines and the fitness classes that are geared toward beginners. We didn't give it 5 stars because it needs to make a couple of easy improvements. First would be to have more paper towel dispensers and cleaning fluid more conveniently placed around the exercise area. Second, would be to replace many of the missing rods that are necessary to adjust the weight of each Nautilus machine. More than half are missing the smaller rod that allows the user to adjust weights in 5 or 10 pound increments. Another plus is that the staff is friendly.

The environment and staff is truly one of a kind at STAR Fitness, always more than happy to answer any and all questions, especially about exercises and use of equipment. The trainers there do an excellent job with getting you started and transitioning you into a permanent fitness lifestyle tailored to your goals. Plus the coffee over there is excellent!! I love a nice cup of joe and fitness.

Star Fitness Center is so much more than a gym. It's a community! Everyone there always brings a smile to your face and the staff is very helpful. I would recommend Star to anyone interested in finding a great gym!
