FRESHFARM Foggy Bottom Market

The location is just beside foggy bottom metro station which makes it more convenient. Opened every Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, small and local businesses or people sell their fresh produce ranging from jams, flowers, micro greens, meat, vegetables to fresh bakery, live food and local delicacies from around the world.

I was kind of disappointed by this farmer's market. Atwater's was the highlight for me. I love their bread. Other than that, I wasn't impressed by the produce selection or other vendors. At the same time, it's early in the season for some fruits and vegetables, so maybe I'll go back in a month or so.

This is a small farmers' market next to GWU Hospital and the Foggy Bottom metro station. It's had most of the same stalls there for at least a year. There are two vegetable/fruit stands, several hot food stands Lebanese flatbread, pizza, & paella, a coffee roaster, a mushroom seller, a butcher, an artisanal ice cream stand, a couple of baked goods stands, and a sauerkraut & pickle vendor No. 1 Sons--try the rye kraut. As that list might suggest, this market is very much aimed at people interested in grab & go items. Prices are somewhat high, but reasonable for the neighborhood. This market is only open on Wednesdays, and closes around 7pm.

This seasonal Farmers Market is always wonderful! Great fresh products and pizza baked on the spot. My favorite es Z&Z

I enjoy the Fresh Farm Market every Wednesday the produce was fresh and reasonably priced the empanadas was actually good and the Mediterranean food was great baked goods yummy
