My biggest surprise during my 1st visit to DC during the cherry blossom festival. After I exit the subway at the Smithsonian Station I saw across street the farmers market, they have the most delicious food from italy, jamaica, mexico and so on. If you are in DC on a Friday I recommend to stop by the USDA Farmers makert in DC 🐴

This market was so much fun! It's definitely worth a walk through. Stop and get some amazing pizza, as well as some fresh fruit! The karaoke was fun to listen to. The atmosphere was great, and all the vendors were so friendly! We enjoyed eating our pizza and blackberries in the garden next to the market. We will definitely be back!

This once-a-week Friday Farmers Market hits the spot for good fresh food, veggies, and loads of other great local vendors selling everything from kambucha to soaps. Highly recommend!

We got a pizza before hitting the mall and it was enough for two people easily. Quite tasty as well.

The USDA farmers market has such a positive effect on local communities and businesses. If you haven't already, stop by on Fridays and check it out! Stop by the hotdog stand and try the Leonardo Dog Vinci (LDV) and snag a bag of kettle corn. If you're really feeling fancy, get a hot and juicy crab cake! You won't be disappointed.
