Absolutely love this place. I'd you love in the area I highly recommend going to check it out. You will not be disappointed. So many vegetables, breads, meats, and fairy products. It is also a good atmosphere.

Fantastic collection of foods, fruits, vegetables, and other locally made goods. Since I am from Florida, I couldn’t buy a lot of the things to take home but was able to buy a few things. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and if I was a DC resident, I’d definitely be a regular customer.

A pleasant experience always - with fresh fruit, veggies, produce, and meats, there's something for almost everyone there. If you're not lactose intolerant, don't miss the cheese stands, which are full of variety and pride for the "mistakes" in many batches. With a lot of money you could probably do grocery shopping for the week here, but with some money you can definitely accent a few of your meals (and maybe indulge in one in the spot).

Generally decent farmers market. Some stalls are wildly overpriced for what you get (dumpling stall, some of the bakeries) but pretty good variety of options. Great for fresh produce, meat, cheeses, pickled vegetables, and baked goods. Not so great for prepared food IMO.

This is one of the best farmers' markets in DC. There are plenty of produce vendors, and plenty more selling prepared foods and even beer and gin. You can also buy orchids and flowers.
Patisserie Poupon is here with a wide variety of baked goods, but they run out of some stuff pretty early. Atwater's, Cowbell Creamery and Baklava Couture are also here and worth checking out.
Soupergirl has the best soups in the city, and some good salads as well. Keswick Creamery has great cheeses and chocolate pudding. Finally, Right Proper is a good DC brewer with a wide variety of beers including Berliner weisse and biere de garde.
