Always been great service every time I have been here but this last time I had some issues. Was shopping and had over 250 worth of goods in the basket and came there to buy a laptop. Well since I had everything else ready I went to check out the laptop. No one care to see if I needed anything two guys there helping people who come after me. So I looked around and found one I was willing to buy. This been 30 minutes looking at them so I stand by waiting for one to be free but after 30 minutes I left and bought what I had. They lost a laptop sale and now I got me a better deal at office depot. Oh well that's a 500 dollar sale they lost. Other than this last time I had no problem here.

You can find great deals here on electronics, office supplies and virtually any other product they carry. The customer service however needs work. The greeters are great but the computer service desk staff seem as if they are compensated for NOT interacting with the customer. It's as if they are doing the customer a favor by helping them...I give this department

Fry's is big. Fry's is a wonderland of Tech, toys, and even appliances. Want to build a computer? They can help. Want to pick up a flying drone and camera? Yup.
Tv's, music, cell phone accessories, science kits, resistors and diodes, too!
Basically Fry's is the love child of a Radio Shack and Best Buy, overall a gadget wonderland. Each store is themed for the area, this one being space as it is near NASA.

Store in Houston is the least inventoried I have ever seen. Nobody wants to help. If you get help and reject the highest priced item they leave you to figure it out on your own with the "well I tried" attitude. The best workers were the janitor who directed me around and the check out guy. Saddest Fry's experience ever. Went in for stereo and a TV for our RV... Left with a soda.

My father and I came in looking to buy a PC specially for gaming, one that I would be able to continue to customize as time went on. I should have done my homework on graphics cards, because had I done this a few months ago, it would have been a lot cheaper. Now, it's just out of my price range.
I unfortunately don't remember the gentleman that helped me, but I was very grateful that he was well versed in the products he had on hand, and recommended that I actually shop online for what I was looking for, especially for a graphics card.
I was very grateful for this man's honesty. It just further reaffirmed why I still go to Fry's. The employees don't work on commission, so they are literally there just to help you. I know if I have answers, someone in this building will be able to help me out!
