Fuji Sushi & Hibachi

Me and my daughters like this place. They always want to come back. Food is great. The atmosphere is cool and my girls like the tricks they do when preparing the dinner. Pretty quick service as well.

I could have easily given this restaurant 5 stars if it wasn't for the obnoxious birthday lotus. Upon sitting at our booth, I felt like we had entered a sick horror movie where a couple of lotus flowers were playing the happy birthday song at different intervals. Once the patrons left, I walked over to their table and destroyed the flower. Everyone in our area clapped and a couple other patrons asked how to disconnect the infuriating flower (there is no manual off switch). When you have people paying decent money for a dinner, please do not ruin the fun for everyone by giving out these aggravating birthday flowers. I honestly considered leaving before placing my order. Otherwise the food was superb.

Really loud atmosphere made it difficult to hear the conversation. Good was good but service was a little slow. Definitely go early on a Saturday as we beat the rush getting there by 6.

My go-to for sushi with coworkers in Middleton. Plenty of lunch specials to choose from and lots of tasty rolls on the regular menu. Cocktail menu is very vibrant and fun, so it can be easy to rack up a tab if you're not careful!

This place is just okay. It’s not the best Asian food in Madison. You can find better at a lower price. You get a lot of food for the price but it’s just nothing special. It’s the typical “American idea of what Asian cuisine is”.
