Muramoto Downtown

Still a great place after the move. Unhappily they don't have a few of my favorite things in the new menu. For instance, they had beef tataki but not tuna tataki, which seems odd as this is a sushi restaurant. But, the food is still top notch and the space is cute. Also, they need a sign out front. I walked by it and didn't even know it was there.

Exceptional every single time. I am a very harsh critic and have not once been able to find the slightest criticism with the food. I've had a few severs before who were not the best I've had. Sat for 10 mins with no drink before having to flag someone down. But that is usually not the case. Not every server is equal. Food A+, atmosphere A-, friendliness A, overall service B, overall score A+. One of my very favorite places in all of Madison.

Hostess was so nice!! Got us a table earlier than expected! Food was awesome, best special rolls I've had in a bit. Poke wasn't the best I've had but was still good and the great service was enough to offset any negatives.

Great place for delicious sushi and unique cocktails. The killer bee was a fun "choose your own spice" drink, and the extra step if serving drinks with carved ice takes it over the top.

Called to ask for a reservation, host refused. Host said we could be seated in an hour and that they would call us. No call was received. We returned to the restaurant an hour later and were told another half an hour. Waited another half an hour and no table was given to us. Will not be back.
