This was my first time coming here. I really liked the atmosphere it definitely gives old school Italian dining. Food was good and portions are decent. It is pricey but I didn't mind paying as it was my mom's birthday so I wanted it to be special and they indeed made it special for her. They brought her some tiramisu which was so delicious with a candle in it. Our server was so nice .
Wow talk about busy. The parking is horrible I just have to park blocks away but the food was worth the walk. Great atmosphere absolutely top-notch servers. An amazing selection of wine. The food was fast and taste wonderful. A bit loud from everybody talking at an incredibly high sound. But a steady flow of people in and out.
This was a gift from my in laws as a late anniversary offer. The atmosphere gives big family dinner get togethers with lots of laughter and good times to be had. Once we got over the initial communication snafu we were seated out on the patio where it was a bit quieter and more intimate. The staff was all engaging and both service and food was prompt and very well done.
Definitely authentic, tasty Italian with a cool atmosphere. Small portions but enough to fill you up. Only complaint was the service was terribly slow even when the place wasn’t very busy for brunch. I do understand there’s a labor shortage, so be sure to schedule yourself plenty of time even though there’s signs everywhere inside of a 90 minute max dining time.
Apparently this restaurant has some history with the mob. But how cool is that?! You can definitely tell it everything is homemade! The meatballs are on point and I would just go to that restaurant for this. Everything is authentic. It is the style of restaurant that uses tomato, basil, garlic for every single recipe. So the photos aren’t super attractive, but the authenticity is noticeable
The best Italian restaurant in Denver! Makes you feel like you're eating on the set of Goodfellas. The chicken parmesan was cooked to perfection and the lasagna was full of meat and cheese. The marinara has just the right flavor, not too sweet. My new favorite place!
From walking in the door, we were treated like royalty. The host was very welcoming. We had appetizers, of Shishito peppers and Bruschetta. The Bruschetta was AMAZING. We also both had a house specialty cocktail. They both were outstanding. Our entrees were Sausage and peppers and Lobster ravioli. Both were prepared and presented perfectly,,,,so delicious, and paired with wines that complemented the dish. Dessert was Tirimasu that absolutely melted in your mouth and Cannoli. Our waiter was THE BEST. He took the best care of not only us, but the other patrons he was serving. It's definitely enjoyable being given that kind of attention. We visited from Iowa and I wish we were closer, because Gaetano's is definitely Top Notch, and will definitely be back if in Denver again.
Absolutely an amazing true authentic Italian experience here in Denver. Everything from the decor to the staff and especially the food. We were lucky enough to get 2 seats at the bar after calling and trying to get a reservation. It was fully booked. Bar seating is first come first serve. Highly recommend calling well in advance. Features: No masks required.
I dont even know where to start. First let me start with our server Shanelle she is a rock star and i do mean star. I had the bolognese and pasta with a side of sausage out of this world. My wife said the fungi gnocchi was the best she's ever had and being from NJ we take our Italian food pretty serious. The desert of cannoli incredible but I loved loved loved the Italian lemon cream cake. Most all of my decisions based on Shanelle's recommendations. Excellent meal can't wait to go back. Bravo!!!
The food was delicious and the service excellent! We went here for Valentine's Day, and they treated us very well, even giving us complimentary champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a rose. My chicken marsala was so delicious! My husband had lasagna and said it was very good. We would definitely recommend Gaetano's.
