Galaxy Nails & Spa

Very nice place. Loved the purple chairs. The manicurist shaved down the super thick nails I had put on from a different salon a few weeks ago. These look so much more natural and feel more natural. Called ahead and was able to get right in. Will be back.

Not super impressed. First time in, waited 40 minutes - as a walk in - completely ok with that. It's one of the only places around open on a Sunday. Had me go sit down, then I waited almost 15 more minutes. Then, the lady to help me was on her phone, she's trying to grab polishes that were left from a previous customer, she pushes one off the counter & the blue green polish bottle breaks & explodes all over my black ankle boots and pants. After we get all cleaned up (yes, I helped her), she starts working on my nails. She did fine and I'm satisfied with them. The icing on the cake is when I go to pay, the sign says for a full set $30.00. I was charged $45.00. I won't be back. Literally have blue green polish all over me; a discount, or even a apology would have been nice. Not sure if it's a culture difference, but had that been my salon & a customer ends up with polish all over them, I would not have charged. I'm now out a pair of boots and also pants that can be worn only on cleaning days or with knee high boots.

Great salon! I have never had any major issues and if I have a full set they will still be in great condition after a month! They are usually pretty friendly

The owner needs to quit talking about the need to make "money, money, money", and focus once again on customers. He also said he likes his workers to be able to communicate with customers. But I experienced more chatter amongst the workers, in their native language, than they ever do with their customers. That just wasn't comfortable to sit there and feel so isolated from everything around me.

Super quick, very nice service from employees, I made an appointment but he never turned down a walk in. Nails are lovely.
