Us Nail & Spa

I'm writing this because my wife won't. She has gone to US Nail for a long time for pedicure and manicure services and has enjoyed it. I have even bought gift certificate for her there. However, she decided to try a wax treatment for a special occasion. It was awful! She came home with 2nd degree burns on her face. The special occasion wasn't so special.

I went to go get a fill. When i was about to pay she said it was going to be 20 instead of 16. I asked her why and she says because of the shape. She got so mad and they all started yelling and looking at me. I had to walk out. I would not recommend this place at all. They are so rude. The worse experience I have ever had. I would give this zero stars of I could.

My wife got tired of my calloused feet and had me meet her on my day off. Staff is friendly, do a great job, in my limited experience with pedicures. My feet are doing much better now. Having been, I would feel completely comfortable coming in by myself next time.

Made appointment for my 3 year old daughter and me, clearly stating I wanted a pink and white acrylic set and pedicure and my daughter would need polish only on her fingers and toes. I re-stated exactly what we were there for upon entering. They had me pick a color for my daughter first. She's 3...so she chose ORANGE, lol! Girl started on mine first and all was great until she just gave me a basic set and then wanted to paint my nails orange. This is after watching the girl next to us use the orange on my daughter. But not her toes. And why didn't I correct the lack of understanding? Because no. That's why. I would have dropped $75 on us today but I didn't feel like rewarding incompetence. I do my own nails normally, but have a torn rotator cuff at the moment so thought I'd have them done. I give up. I've learned my lesson.

I usually like this place but have been very unhappy the last two times I've been there. Today was exceptionally bad. I could tell immediately that the lady doing my pedi wasn't happy I interrupted her nap. She was unusually rough and didn't respond when I pulled back as she was jabbing at my cuticles. While trimming them with the cuticle nippers she cut me, drawing blood, TWICE! The final straw for me was how I was treated when I requested an easy but unusual design I was willing to pay extra for. I could tell it was an inconvenience for her and she was visibly agitated. She made a small mistake and threw her tool between the chairs. I suggested an easy way to correct the mistake and she didn't have to start over. In the end, I paid extra and left a generous tip and questioned my judgment all the way home. Beware of the older lady with a "bob" type hair style who wears glasses.
