So nice to see the monument to plantation slave owner John McDonogh standing so prominently in front of Gallier Hall in Lafayette Square. Mayor Mitch Landrieu must be so proud that he was able to protect the monument to a REAL slave owner from being removed, so as to, not tarnish the City's....err, uh...the Landrieu's family reputation.
