SO much history here. I was a little jealous this family has the ability to have so much of their history. The tour guide was amazing and super informative. Be prepared for this drive as it is no where near NOLA. Go, you will have a good time and get to go back in time when stepping on the plantation. Tourist--go and I would recommend.

Lynne was an amazing tour guide. She spoke of all the history of the house with so much passion. Great experience! 10/10 would go again.

Family run tour... TV shows and movies are shot there. Very nice people... Would recommend a visit to anyone.

My friend and I have been taking for years about going South to see the plantations. We decided let's go and went. We visited St. Joseph Plantation the tour guide Jess was amazing. Very knowledgeable, we learned so much. We had been at Oak Alley the day before, did not learn nearly as much. I would highly recommend going to St. Joseph Plantation!!!
