Super nice staff! Helpful great customer service
My12yr old son went in for a xbox controller 5 min before closing on a snowy night. Walked out the store describing his experience and how patient they were with him and not rushing him at all even though it was closing time. Thank you Game Stop staff! Keep up the good work👍

I'm giving 5 stars to the guy that helped me. He made my shopping experience super fun and personal. I'm sorry I can remember his name right now. I went in for Funko Pops, the selection was okay and I found a couple I wanted. I also got a great deal on some older mystery boxes.

The people at this location are always friendly. They also keep a good stock of games here. Especially the hard to find games that never seem to be available.

Haven’t been to another GS up here in years because this location is elite AF. Kiel is the man, Anthony, ALL the staff are not only super friendly and inviting to new patrons and vets alike, but I dare you to find ANY other shop with a staff as knowledgeable and genuinely nice. They all play, well, everything lol. And always have the time to answer questions even if they are super busy with ten other things. They all work super hard and long and the place is not a revolving door for employees as the majority of the same few faces have been there for years, since the store opened, some at other locations before the store even opened years ago.
I stopped at a GS around Christmas up in Mass. and they were garbage, twice the size 1/3rd the selection, 5 staff members standing around doing nothing with huge lines and were cocky until they got shutdown immediately on any and everything when it was apparent they knew nothing, even about their own store. This would never happen at mount pocono. Pretty much the same at every other GS regardless of area or even state. This location is small in square footage but is packed with everything. Great selection of hardware ,accessories, old and new Games,retro,statues,POP’s, figures, consoles,bundles, tons of exclusives and variants and Gamestop special editions when everywhere else is sold-out of pre-orders let alone release date purchases.
Numerous times I’ve gotten things that no other GS would have in stock because the staff at other stores would ransack all the cool stuffs before putting it out for customers. It’s the opposite here. I’ve seen staff give away their own pre-orders to customers and things of this nature, pretty much do anything they can (within reason of course) to make u happy. If something somehow isn’t in stock they will order it for u (even rare and retired stuff they will exhaust every avenue to get u what ur looking for)and have it shipped to ur house free or to store or will call another store for you, or even have it shipped there from another store or held for u if feel like driving.
Plus if you are an elite pro member or just Pro, u can work the deals especially Black Friday and s few times throughout the year randomly and of course prior to Christmas for insane value. I got $400 worth of brand new releases for about $120 bucks and they gave me $275 cash or trade for my iPhone 6plus. Verizon Store next door wanted to give me $150. If corporate was smart they’d pump this location full of incentives and cash and make it a flagship location as I know they do some of the top sales in the country for their size and location population etc. They flourished since opening.
Anybody I know who goes here never goes anywhere else and they have regulars coming from jersey and New York and I personally know about 8 people who come up from the Lehigh valley purely for this location and the experience. Always having midnight releases, staff all work their a$$es off and love what they do. And it shows. Always organized and easy, clean, staff always asking questions (but never overly so) and helping u with pre-orders etc. but not pushing their ways or agenda or in an overly car-salesman-y type manner like every other dump. Plus they always have good deals and sales, used items are flawless, bought hundreds over the years and never once had a dud or bad functioning product. Unlike anywhere else if u do need to return or exchange something they don’t give you a hard time at all and pretty much do everything they can to make things right and to ensure every experience there is top notch whether your dropping $2k on multiple consoles etc. or $3 on some clearance sale old a$$ item. 13 out of 5.
