Gateway Film Center

We went here to see Jackass & it really is spectacular! The building is gorgeous, the drinks are good and on Tuesdays they have a deal where you get $5 movies and a free popcorn, which you can't beat! We got two tickets, two popcorns, and two alcoholic beverages for $26, that's crazy! The seats are so comfortable and it really feels like watching a movie in luxury. The torpedo room is also something you can't and should not miss!

Such a cool theatre! I was visiting from out of state and am so glad I took the time to stop at Gateway Film Center. It's in a great area near campus with lots of restaurants around, and they offer a very unique venue, fun atmosphere and creative programming. If you live in or visit Columbus, do not miss this community gem!

Pricey drink menu. I went here for a special free event. I parked in the garage and was expecting to pay double-digits in dollars, but I checked at the desk and found they validate parking for a very reasonable price. The theater seating was nice and comfortable. Had trouble finding the general restrooms, but there was an individual restroom on the second floor.

Friendliest staff providing amazing customer service. Enjoyed watching movies with friends. Although the theatres don't have recliners like some other fancy frachises but still they are really good for the price. Highly recommended to watch movies with friends.

My first time in this theater it's very nice. Comfortable reclining chairs. We were in a small theater it was like being at home. You can buy beer and wine of course popcorn but I must say it's a bit pricey but that's ok. Will definitely go again.

This is my favorite movie theater! I love supporting independent cinema! I really like that they show cult classics and niche films like anime movies along with more mainstream movies. The theater I was in also had comfy seats and was very clean.

The Gateway Film Center is a cultural hub of Columbus – my first and only choice for seeing new releases and classics alike, bumping elbows with fellow cinephiles, and enjoying some of the best drinks in town I can’t praise the folks backing the bar in the Torpedo Room enough. Best of all? A membership costs less than your average trip to Chipotle – for $15/month you can see unlimited movies at what many consider the best cinema in town. If you see just two films per month, it pays for itself and you get a free popcorn each visit to boot. So stop spending money to see the same Nicole Kidman ad every weekend and start supporting independent cinema instead. I’ll see you there!

First time and I was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the pricing of their concessions! I evenly like the intimate theater environment. I will definitely be back! I also really like that they validate your parking!

LOVE this place. Every theater is spacious and clean. Plenty of different movie times per movie to choose from. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, Torpedo Room visit is a must before the movie.
