Giants Dugout Store

I am a huge SF Giants fan, and attend many games each year, both at AT&T Park and in Scottsdale at Spring Training. The fan / customer experience has almost always been top notch, as it should be. Whether I am at a dugout store in SF, at Scottsdale Stadium, or at one of the ballparks the SF Giants employees treat me as a valued customer. There is one place that is a troubling exception. The Dugout Store in Walnut Creek either hires bad employees or does not train them and enforce what should be expected of them. My experience yesterday was not atypical. There were about 10 employees more interested in chatting away amongst themselves, and acted like they were doing me a favor to take my money. They bordered on being rude, wouldn't look me in the eye, didn't say thank you after taking my money, and I believe are tarnishing the Giant brand. I felt quite unwelcome. This was not the first time I have had such an experience at the Walnut Creek Dugout Store.

very friendly staff. prices are cheaper at other online retailers.
