Griswold Home Care

I would like to share my experience with Griswold Home Care here in Vineland, New Jersey. I live in North Carolina and my mother’s care is very important to me. Some things have become a little difficult for her and I wanted her to have some help in caring for herself and her home. I was pleasantly surprised to find a home health care agency right here in Vineland. Beth, my mother’s caseworker was excellent. Very supportive and kept in constant contact with my mother to make sure her care was up to the standard that Griswold expects. That was not a problem as our home health care provided was an angel. On time, honest, and hard working. Plus, she always puts my mother’s safety first. I have met Arlene numerous times and find her to be one of the most caring people I have ever met. Griswold is flexible and will met the ever changing needs of their clients. Recently my mother was in the hospital and to my surprise both Beth and Arlene came by to check on her. Now that is going the extra mile. I highly recommend Griswold Home Care for any and all of your home health care needs. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve debated doing this for a month now and finally I’m ready to speak. I worked for Griswold Vineland office for 8 months, I’ve never called out besides once I asked for a half day for an interview and they found coverage. Never request off and always on call and calling office for more hours. Anytime a family called whether 6am and wanted me @9am I was there. My families love and appreciate everything I do, I care the way I want to be cared for. Last year I spent every holiday with another family. In July my car was totalled and my on going case was 30 minutes away. They wanted me there 15mins before my shift 7am and my grandmother got off work at midnight and had to be back at 8am but she had me there daily regardless how many times the times changed. Anytime I wanted to quit the case I thought about my clients and the joy I give them regardless of how depressed I was becoming (it’s not easy being belittled , keeping a smile on your face and love in your heart) after 4 months I still never complained stayed later came earlier anything I had to do. Well Jan 16 when my grandmother got off midnight she fell down the stairs and beings though she’s a director and her residence had Dr. Appts she put herself last and then first when she got off Midnight the 17 she came home and went to sleep cause I was already in bed having to be on a 6am-9am when she dropped me off she asked me to go to the Dr. With her that day and i figured it would be okay if I found coverage (my client has had a just in case caregiver thru the company since before I started) she was available to go in. Because I chose to take my grandmother to the doctors without them having to fill the case I was told to choose between my grandmother and my job and my dignity just didn’t let me choose the job. Alll my families has reached out to me because they “ don’t understand how griswold can send so many people to a persons house and not know how to give proper care”

It is a pleasure working for our Vineland Griswold office. We have the best caregivers and office staff around! I’m fortunate enough to coordinate and schedule care for our amazing clients!!
