Grounded Coffee Shop

Have been twice. First time they gave me a skim latte that someone left on the counter instead of the whole milk latte I ordered and they didn't want to remake it for me. Today they gave me a sugary drink when I ordered a cappuccino. Good pastries but they are weirdly rude as well.

Love this place! The food and coffee is my favorite in the area. My husband loves the raspberry almond tart. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to all. I love that they offer a kids corner for moms who want to have their coffee and drink it too!

Seems like a great place. When I came in, there was a very low-key live performance, and the performers seemed local. Great mix of clientele (families, seniors, some lone teenagers and some college-age people)

Outstanding coffee drinks, good service, nice place to hang out with a cup. The problem? They charge customers 25 cents to use a credit card for purchases under $5. Merchants are charged per transaction for the privilege of being able to use the system to enable customers to pay for goods without cash (thereby increasing the amount of potential customers!). Passing those costs onto customers is disingenuous profiteering. You know who doesn't charge extra for credit card transactions? Peet's. And Starbucks.

Been going here for years- this place is solid! Coffee drinks are delish and food phenomenal with tons of nutritious variety & treats. You can't beat a Neighborhood coffee shop & Employees stay here for years- good sign.
