Roberta was rude and spoke to me with an attitude from start to finish. I strongly suggest a replacement case worker, because she was on the offense before she even knew what information I needed. Much less willing to help once I finally explained and had to ask her one direct question to make that phone call remotely productive. Case Workers should be there to help society, not hurt...

They hate white people , especially white males.🙋🏼‍♂️ They were dishonest , sneaky and I was lied to on several occasions. Juanita Waiters should find a different job ,helping people is not in her vocabulary. She only made things worse with my kids situation .

A simple application for Medicaid has turned into a fiasco. I tried to contact my first caseworker to tell her I needed more time to get all my information in, she was never at her desk, so the deadline passed and I had to re-apply. Partially my fault, understandable. I send in my new application and get an even WORSE caseworker. She tried to end calls as quickly as possible with me, won't answer my questions properly which leaves me with more questions, then gets mad when I ask for clarification. She's making me take a disability assessment which has to be sent to the capital to determine if I'm even disabled. I talked to other disabled people in NC on Medicaid, and none of them have ever had to do this before, nor have I in my last city. I asked her if this was a new thing that was added to Medicaid and she IGNORED MY QUESTION. The assessment will take an extra 90 days on top of my 90 Medicaid application. I'm disabled and need my Medicaid NOW, not in 180 days. She refuses to cooperate, so I keep having to call other people to get answers from them. I'm being told by other people in Guilford county that I should get a lawyer and fight to get my Medicaid sooner. Honestly, I just want a caseworker that will do her job. The bar is low and it still isn't met.

I work full time and am unable to just up and leave to go downtown for a quick question. I've called many times over the course of a couple weeks and waited on hold for over 30 minutes each time, left a few voice mails, and never received a return call. They want things done certain way, but make it almost impossible to obtain necessary information to be successful. I'm very dissappointed in how unhelpful they have proven to be. I believe in working hard for something you want, but this is becoming unattainable seeing as nobody wants to help, unless your face to face.
