The ways in which the IFC helps people ranges from its food pantry to housing assistance and general social work such as providing access to mental and physical healthcare to those who don't have the means to do so alone. And they do much more too, so much that I am only able to give the examples above without making this review too long. Check out their website or stop by and ask questions; they're here to help

Inter-Faith Council. Their headquarters is located in Carrboro. This facility is small but mighty. They are a community based organization that provides a multitude of services to the ever increasing list of needy. From the working poor to the homeless; seniors, job seekers, the hungry. You will find dedicated problem solvers who are tied into service agencies across the County.
