Never rated a state rest area before...why not? Besides being a super convenient stop 2/3 of the way up to our usual spot, the staff behind the info desks always greet you when you enter. The restroom facilities are clean. Nice to see plentiful snack/beverage options that accept cards- as well as those weird dollar coins. The grounds are meticulously maintained with some rural flavor which is always nice to see. Well lit after dark, and ample parking. There seems to be a dog area off to one side as well, for those with furry, four-legged travelers.

Great stop for everybody entering Vermont, the Beautiful post and beam building is gorgeous, all the local artists and Craftsman they have work displayed for all to see, employees sitting at the front desk to help guide you to where you are headed. Huge parking lot, and lots of vending machines for Beverages and snacks. The brick walkways and all the trees and plants just add to the look and feel of this Vermont building. Restrooms are spotless and not a speck of dirt on the floors, I give this place 10 Stars just for the cleanliness. I highly recommend just swinging on in.

Great place to stop and stretch your legs. Dog walking area is huge and there are doggy dudu bags complimentary. Today there was a group asking for donations for snacks outside; there was a large selection of snacks, coffee, and lemonade. There is a playground and picnic area outside. Inside, there are clean bathrooms and information about Vermont as well as displays from local artisans. A must for a pit stop.

Really nice place to rest up from the road as soon as entering Vermont. Has bathrooms and people available to provide guiding directions. Although there are snacks from vending machines, don't expect an establishment that provides a hot meals, the only food you'll find here are chips, cookies, and drinks.
