Hagen's Fish Market

When I go salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, I take my catch here to get smoked. They do a good job but it is the only place I have ever brought freshly caught fish to be smoked so I cant comment on how their prices compare to other places that might provide this service. You can buy deep fried shrimp and fish chips by the pound. Again I don't know of any other place where you can walk in and order deep fried fresh fish so I can't compare prices.

I've been wanting to stop at Hagen's for a long time and I finally made it in yesterday. I had always heard good thing and I must say it surpassed my already good expectations. We ordered smoked sturgeon, smoked candied salmon and fried shrimp and everything was great. The salmon was amazing and I give it an A++! I will definitely be back!

AN ABSOLUTE CHICAGO'S FISH N SEAFOOD GEM!!! Great Staff, nice and friendly Service, Phenomenally Tasting wild caught naturally smoked FISH as if Just out of Hell, smoked by the Diablo himself! Chicago DT seafood is no good compared to Hagen's. Love it. Back Here at least very week. Highly recommend Hagen's smoked FISH and shrimp...!!!

They have the best fried shrimp anywhere! Plus, it is family owned. They are respectful and ever so pleasant to their customers.

They take Google Pay! Great seafood. You can get fresh, smoked, fried, etc. I don't eat a lot of seafood year round. But, come Lent, this is my goto place for shrimp. Cooked to perfection. Great flavor and seasoned just right. They also make their own cocktail sauce. You can also get fries. They don't taste like seafood, so they must use a separate frier. I can't recommend then enough. I will return. Bicycling: The main roads aren't the easiest bicycle riding. I usually stick to the side streets in this area. There isn't any bicycle parking at the store.
