Hair Cuttery

ZERO STARS! NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE! I came in for a trim and clean up of my layers of my long hair. I left with almost SIX INCHES taken off. I have long, straight, easy hair, so I thought it would be fine. I called ahead and Sang said she would be good at cutting my hair, but she didn't have anything till 7PM (over 3 hours later) and I figured anyone could handle a trim. Wrong. I started with Nancy and she hacked my hair. She cut some pieces so short I thought I was going to cry. When I said that the short pieces looked bad because they weren't blended, she basically gave up and asked someone else to fix it. I was shocked, to say the least. The second person who cut my hair was Ryan, I liked her, I would give her actual starts and she was friendly. Unfortunately, by that point, the damage was done. When I went up front to check out, I looked in the mirror and it still didn't seem right. Sang, who was now available, said she would take a look. She did some more cutting to even things out and make things blend even more (yes - a THIRD person was needed to "fix" my hair). I would have recommend her, however, she said multiple times that if I had just waited for her, I would be going home with long hair, which I found insensitive and very unprofessional. I told her I didn't realize that by not going to her I would get someone who doesn't know how to cut a simple trim. When I made a comment about it being so short, she told me she didn't have any magic to fix it and that it will grow back. Again, I found this unprofessional and insensitive. When I was leaving, they didn't make me pay and gave me some free products, but I didn't want free products or a free haircut, I wanted a f'ing trim and my long hair. I normally don't have problems with lower end places, since I don't do more than a trim, but I will not be coming back, nor will I ever visit another Hair Cuttery. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I have been going to this Hair Cuttery location for approx 3 1/2 years. I have had several different stylists cut my hair and they all did equally well. The stylist that I seem most comfortable with is Mickie. She’s more gentle than some of the males at this location. Also, she’s easy to “small talk” with. She listens when I make a specific request and tries to accommodate to the best of her ability.

Dropped in for a shampoo and blow dry before leaving town. Hairdresser did a wonderful job styling my hair. Was very impressed and the price was more than reasonable.

I was hesitant to go here. I am African American. But, on each occasion I received excellent care and all the services required for my ethnic hair. Sang (mgr.) gave me an amazing hair cut and color. Lareesa tended to me on my 2nd and 3rd visit. She is very professional and we'll mannered. Her knowledge of hair processing was impressive. The manager, Sang, is so caring . I'm extremely satisfied with this place. The vibe is great. I've seen some great haircuts walk out the door .

I’ve been a customer here for five years now and I am happy with their barbers. The receptionists are awful and miserable people. Note: $21 for a men’s haircut+shampoo if you walk in. $23 if you call to make an appointment. $27 if you request for your favorite barber.
