Salon Quency

Hair stylists at Quency understood what I want and helped me get that hair style. I was looking for a long-back hair. John-my stylist did a fantastic job and gave me excellent advice on maintaining the hair style. My colleagues at work have started noticing the change in my hair style and complimented me for it. The price is reasonable and the ambiance is really cool. The only downside to this place is the parking. Finding street parking is extremely difficult on a weekday.

Was so excited to try this place out ( just moved to the city and it’s close by) walked in and was told no appointments were available for the next 4 days.. which is fine, I get that the place is popular... received an email to remind me about my appointment, which was good because I needed to cancel due to last minute plans... gave them a call to cancel and everything was fine... until the next day I received two calls, a voicemail, and a email to tell me that they would charge me 50% for “not showing up to my appointment”... when I called to see what was happening my call would not go through... not sure these people are aware that they’re not the only place one can go to, to get a haircut in Dc... id like a follow up as to why I received calls/emails when I cancelled within time... since I cannot get through by phone (assuming I was blocked) this will do for now.

The receptionist was cordial and efficient. 2. The salon was clean. 3. The person that washed my hair was attentive. 4.Kevin was wonderful. Months ago I had gotten one of the worst haircuts ever. It has been my experience that with extremely bad haircuts it takes forever for my hair to grow. It was uneven and just plain atrocious..he took time to really look at my hair.. how it grew... where it was uneven...and than cut. Best haircut in over 4 years. 5.In sitting there I observed the other workers, they all efficient . 6. The products they use smell wonderful.

Kevin did a wonderful job with my very very long hair! He handled it with care and made my hair look great!
