From the customer service to the hair products, and everything in between.. TRIM is truly an experience. I was referred to Mercedes a little under a year ago, and she has helped me so much with deciding what I want to do with my hair. Not to mention the hair products she has recommended, Davine’s Oí Shampoo & Conditioner have allowed me to stop washing my hair daily to now twice to three times a week. They are concentrated so a little goes a long way, and because I’m not washing as often the products have lasted over 3 months at a time. My hair is healthier than ever, thank you!

The best haircuts in DC. A beautiful space that feels both cozy and elegant, and a lovely and friendly staff that will make sure you walk out looking your best. Highly recommended.

Great staff. Mercedes is the best hairstylist I have ever had! Her haircuts grow out amazing and her color is just to die for. I live in New York and travel to DC to get my color, shes the only one who has been able to do ombre on my hair that doesn't turn out orange. I get a lot of compliments on both the cut and color. If you want someone who can do your hair the RIGHT way and give you tips on how to maintain your hair with awesome products be sure to go to trim.

My wife has followed the owner for almost 20 years. worth the drive in from VA. Street parking in Adams Morgan and a walk up, but worth it to work with a real professional.

Mercedes has been taking glorious care of my hair for over 7 years now, obviously I'm a fan. I have to say I was a bit nervous that she was moving from the nice fancy salon she was working at to open her own shop in Adams Morgan. What a pleasant surprise this little upstairs oasis is! It's got so much more feel than the previous spot she was working at - there's life and energy in the space, tons of natural light which is always nice - and it just makes you feel good and happy, instead of intimidated and reserved, like the place she was working at before. I love it at Trim! So happy that she brought this Salon back to LIFE! :)
