I’ve know Thomas nearly 10 years. He’s continued to grow and perfect his craft. Recently Thomas transformed my half long half shaved head, which was growing in and looking shaggy, into a sexy asymmetrical cut. If you need a simple spruce up or a whole change of pace, Thomas Shelton is the man to see!!

I would share a picture of my hair but that would be too embarrassing.
I went to this salon for a relaxer and a style because I heard this salon was voted Washington DC's Best Salon for three years! I thought that was super impressive and for obvious reason, I only wanted the best to style my hair.
I have been shopping around for a great salon that I can stick with, so I naturally felt this salon would be a great candidate.
The relaxer that I was given was great, but the style that came after was terrible. For the sake of the stylist, I will leave his name out of it, because I feel as though it wasn't truly his fault, and that this salon doesn't necessarily specialize in doing hair for women of color.
What I am dissatisfied with, however, is the customer services of what came after. Naturally, I am a person who doesn't complain and brushes most things off. But because I felt as though I didn't feel as though the money that I paid was worth it, all I asked for was a $65 refund. Mind you, the total cost of my hair was $175 and I was willing to pay for the relaxer which was $110.
The woman at the reception desk (not sure her name but I wish I had gotten it) informed me that the owner would offer to have my hair fixed. Although I appreciated the gesture, I politely declined, just simply due to the fact that I felt as though the salon mostly specialized in men's haircuts and long hair. For this reason, I felt as though a second visit would be useless for me.
The woman at the front desk explained that they would be unable to issue me a refund of $65 because the service had already been done. I said ok, and as an alternative, I will simply leave a review. Her response? "OK" and hung up.
Great customer service, don't you think? I hope that $65 was worth a 1 star passionate review.
Naturally, anyone leaving a salon should feel confident and ready to take on the world. Me, on the other hand, couldn't wait to get home to fix my hair.
Overall, the salon seemed ok, but I wouldn't recommend it for women of color with short hair.

I did a lot of research prior to my visit - I was in search of the best blonde! This salon was highly recommended. Four hours and $300 later, I left my appointment with pink and grey hair and by Carlos told that I must purchase $75 worth of product and schedule a return visit to achieve the blonde I was seeking. I declined the products and regrettably paid the money because I was so distraught and eager to leave. I tried to follow up with the salon but was snubbed.

Harold did a FANTASTIC job on my hair. He took his time, created a color masterpiece, and designed my hair beautifully for my bridesmaid role! I highly recommend him!

Its useless to do an appointment if they don't respect it. Also, because the guy for my appointment was not ready, they call another to cut my hair. Bad idea, I left with a overprice bad quality cut and my face full of hair. I wished to have a napkin to clean my face before leaving this place
