Hampton Inn & Suites Minot Airport

Visited Minot North Dakota last weekend but barely made it there because of the big snow storms (Yep, this Miami girl flew in and out of Minneapolis in a BLIZZARD! Give this Native Miamian a hurricane any day... but a BLIZZARD?! Anyway I digress... The point is I made it to Minot in one piece and was able to retreat to this relaxing little place). Cozy hotel and very nice staff. They have a free shuttle (but give the driver a tip) that will take you anywhere you need to go if you don't have a car (they took me to church at Cornerstone Presbyterian--awesome Pastor and message by the way!--down the street on Sunday and picked me up after the service). Comfortable bed, good breakfast, clean rooms.

Really great rooms! Check in staff, Wilbur, was super friendly and welcoming! I will stay here in future travels and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Minot.

Booked a room a month in advance. No confirmation or reminder emails. No emails at all. Price was different then the agreed upon amount. The Hotub was out of order 1 week prior to arrival. No notificarion of this fact prior to arrival. When I asked about it the maintenance personal said the heater was bad they went sure which part, had to replace the heater. He went on to blame corporate politics for lack of a timely repair and stated there is no eta on repair. He also stated that the owner of Hotel also owns the HVAC company making the repair and told me they are the best HVAC company in Minot. Checked out no email or receipt. Called and asked to be emailed a receipt. Its been almost 24 hours since, and still no receipt. I gave this Hotel 2 stars because the studio room they call a suite was good. The staff was pleasant and knowledgable of the area. Would definitely not recommend. The unpeofessionalism of the Hotel is unacceptable.

Friendly staff and good breakfast. Pool was warm and the hot tub was a bit on the very hot side. Room was clean and tidy, beds were comfy. Nice hotel overall.

Standard hampton experience. One of the nicest hotels in town. Close to airport.
