Harlem Animal Hospital

From the first moment I came to this practice, I was amazed by the passion and dedication of the doctors and the thoroughness of their exams. The doctors will explain what they’re doing as they’re doing it and even let you look into your pet’s ear through the ear viewing tool which is something I had never experienced with other vets! It really helps you, as the pet parent, feel in the loop with what’s going on during the exam. Putting your fur babies on medication can be scary but I felt confident doing so with my pets because I know the doctors did all the appropriate testing to ensure their safety. I know the wait can be long but I think that’s going to be an issue at any vet clinic I would regularly wait 1.5 - 2.5 hours with my previous vet so this wait is nothing in comparison. The reviews here are kinda mixed but I can assure you that the vets at Harlem Animal Hospital will care for your pet more than anywhere else and, at the end of the day, isn’t that the only thing that matters?

Mr. Lucky loves his new vet. They called us in after they got a cancellation opening. We arrived on time for our appointment and brought all records that were needed. There was only one more person in the waiting area, and we were greeted by the vets technicians after 15min of wait. I was allowed to accompany Mr. Lucky to his room and also to the Dr. Kiani’s computer to see the specimens of bacteria in his ears. I highly recommend her as one of the best vets in the uptown area.

I have nothing but great things to say about this facility. I brought my cat here for treatment. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and felt welcomed. I was upset due to the situation with my cat, but the tech in the back provided me support. I will never forget her kindness. She took the time to talk to me and explain what was happening and their protocols. Her effort really made the situation much less stressful for me. I wish I remembered her name so I could thank her. I highly recommend this facility. The customer service alone was amazing. My cat is thriving and the facility is clean and well put.

I always had a good experience at the Harlem Animal Hospital. Dr. Colón had been my vet of my dogs that I have owned. She was always right on the course of following a medication or making sure my dog was treated right. When I have to make the difficult decision to treat my 12 year old Doberman. She was right on the plan to make him comfortable. Honestly, my dog had a melanoma tumor on his mouth and she guided and prepared for what was going to happen. I was very lucky to find Dr. Colón. She was very compassionate and helpful on the process of a dear dog that was with my almost 14 years. I want to recommended Dr. Colón for her knowledge but also for her experience. And I must say that it’s a double win when you realize that she can speak Spanish as well.

I love my vets! Dr. Kiani and Dr. Colon are brilliant, thorough and kind and take the best care of my babies! Not to mention the prices are some of the most reasonable I've ever seen.

I want to thank both Dr. Kiani and Dr. Colon and the entire HAH staff for saving my cat panda, last Thursday was a roller coaster of emotions but this wonderful team did whatever was possible to stabilize and save my baby. Thank you all, I’m forever grateful.

I am grateful for Dr. Kiani and Dr. Colon for being able to help out my animals. They are one of the most intelligent doctors I have met. I’ve been to multiple vets that won’t give me a straight answer for my Dog Star but when I came to Harlem animal hospital everything was explained well and they told me what would my next step for my dogs quality of life would be. Thank you Harlem animal hospital!! You guys are the best!

Doctor Colon and her staff truly understand that our companions are not just pets but family. The wait time was fair and the fees were reasonable as well. I will be using this facility as Hewie primary care for as long as I have companions in my care, or me in there’s. Hewie is a three year old Shiba Inu who can be difficult to deal with and has sensitive areas he doesn’t like touched. The staff knew how to handle him and he trusted them with his safety. Truly remarkable teamwork!

They were awesome - super friendly staff, they walked me through things really patiently and even went beyond and took efforts to help me save money when it came to billing. They were very knowledgeable and were gentle as well as thorough with my cats exam. Would recommend!!
